  • Where do you deliver? What if my student's address changes mid-year?
    We ship to students at all universities, apartments, boarding schools and homes anywhere in the continental United States. You can absolutely change delivery addresses at any time- simply email us at **please note: Please ensure that the address noted can receive packages (package size approx 12x10x5).
  • When will my student receive their boxes? What about college vacation schedules?
    To avoid most collegiate calendar vacation dates, your SendingSun care package will ship mid-month (approximately the 10th) of Sept, Oct and Nov for the Fall Semester, and Feb, Mar and April for the Spring Semester. All packages are shipped priority USPS. You will receive a tracking number via email. Any concerns about your student's collegiate calendar, just let us know.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Rest assured, you may cancel at any time, for any reason. We just ask that you email us ( prior to the first of the month to cancel that month's shipment. And if you have any issues during the duration of your plan, please email us and we will do our best to make it right!
  • Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
    We know allergies and dietary needs can be a big deal, therefore, we can accommodate nut-free, gluten-free and vegetarian! You will have an option to select these preferences during check out. **important: foods may, however, have been processed in a facility with nuts or other allergens.
  • What are the differences between the girls and guys packages?
    Many of the products will be the same, but to generalize the few differences: the girls boxes will have more self-care, jewelry items and decor items. The guys boxes will be a little heavier on the snacks and tech favorites. ALL will be unique and fun!
  • What types of items will be in each care package? Can I customize?
    Our college curators select 6-8 very cool and trendy goods (including snacks) for each care package- cookies and taffy are always in! Click here to check out past boxes and upcoming products our students are considering. Rest assured, the value of our goods always exceeds subscription cost. We cannot customize individual boxes at this time.
  • Can I see exactly what will be in the upcoming boxes?
    Because we want the care packages to be a surprise for students, we don't post in advance exactly what will be sent. However, we do post all past boxes as well as product examples to help give senders an idea of the types of items that they can expect.
  • Can I purchase just one box?
    Sorry, not at this time.
  • How will I be billed?
    We offer either a Semester or Full Academic Year subscription package paid in monthly installments. You will be billed for the first box at time of checkout, and then every 30 days for the duration of your subscription (either 3 or 6 months).
  • How much is shipping?
    Shipping is a flat fee of $5 per box for all members within the Continental US. Sorry, we don't ship to areas outside of the Continental US at this time.
  • Do you put receipts in the boxes?
    Never! Since almost all of our orders are surprises, we do not include receipts or invoices in with our shipped packages. You (the purchaser) will get an email with your order information and tracking information.
  • My tracking says the box was delivered, but my student didn't receive?"
    • First step, call the recipient to ensure it wasn't left in the dorm mailroom, or the store under their apartment, etc. • Next, call the delivery service as noted on your confirmation email. Get all the info you can from them based on what happened. • Shoot us an email with your order number to We will work on our end to figure out what went wrong, but the shipping service is who makes the magic happen. Have your tracking number available and call them ASAP.
